Jose Luis, survived by his wife Lorena Ramirez, his children Jose Luis Ramirez, Yazmin S. Sanchez and Michael A. Ramirez, his 6 grandchildren, Isaiah Ramirez, Sammy Ramirez, Nathan Sanchez, Emma Ramirez, Christian Sanchez and Ayden Ramirez, his son in law Severo Sanchez, his daughter in laws Silvia Ramirez and Krista Ramirez and his mother-in-law Maria Esther Ramos "Mama They"



José Luis nació en El Salvador, y estudio en el Colegio Don Bosco, fue un "Salesiano" con orgullo y estudio en la Universidad Católica. Para luego ser tutor de Dibujo técnico y Matemáticas. Trabajo como maestro por varios años en el colegio Don Bosco.



A la edad de 28 años se movió a los Estados Unidos junto con su familia. Llegaron a Hayward, California donde comenzó su vida aquí. En 37 años, el trabajo por solo 3 compañías como Maquinista. En la última compañía, orgullosamente fue Capataz. En Octubre de 2020, José Luis se movió a Fresno, California donde el comenzó su vida de retiramiento.



Era un hombre trabajador, cariñoso, dedicado a su familia y orgulloso de sus hijos y nietos. También era dedicado a su Comunidad. Por muchos años como voluntario en varios Ministerios de la Iglesia San Clemente en Hayward, donde lo hacía con mucha dedicación. También estuvo con el distrito de Hayward por varios años, como tutor de matemáticas, con muchos estudiantes de todas edades. Él se sentía muy orgulloso de ayudar a todos ellos.



Era muy amigable y siempre rodeado de muchos amigos y su familia. Le gustaba hacer a toda la gente reír y era muy divertido. Le gustaban los viajes a México, la playa y campar. Gozaba de las fiestas y los bailes Salvadoreños. Sus comidas favoritas eran Salvadoreña y Mexicana.



En Enero de 2020 fue diagnosticado con Cáncer, y en Septiembre de 2020 tuvo un trasplanté de la Medula Ósea, y todo salió bien. En Diciembre le encontraron neumonía. Su cuerpo no lo pudo combatir, y el falleció en paz, junto con su esposa y tres hijos a su lado.

Jose Luis was born in El Salvador, he studied at the College of Don Bosco and was a "Salesian" with much pride, he also studied at the Catholic University, where he later became a tutor in technical drawing and mathematics. He worked as a professor at the College of Don Bosco for several years.



At the age of 28 he moved to the United States with his family, they moved to Hayward, California. In 37 years, he only worked for 3 different companies as a machinist. At his last company, he proudly worked as a Forman. In October of 2020 Jose Luis moved to Fresno, California where he began his new life as a retiree.



Jose Luis was a hard worker, very caring and dedicated to his family and very proud of his kids and grandchildren. He was also very dedicated to his community, and a volunteer in different Ministries for many years at his parish St. Clement in Hayward. He was also part of the Hayward School District, where he was a math tutor to many students of all ages. He was very proud of all his students.



He was very friendly and always surrounded by family and friends. He liked to make everyone laugh and was always fun to be around. He loved his trips to Mexico, the beach and camping. He loved going to parties and to the Salvadorian dances. His favorite foods were Salvadorian and Mexican.



In January of 2020 he was diagnosed with Cancer and in September of 2020 he underwent a bone marrow transplant. He was doing well but still recovering. In December he was diagnosed with Pneumonia. He was not able to fight the virus and passed peacefully with his wife and 3 children alongside of him.



The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers a donation be made on his behalf directly to either:
