Yolanda Carmona, 71, of Fresno, California who struggled with dementia and Alzheimer's passed on October 3, 2016.
Yolanda was born on August 25, 1955.
She left behind her oldest son, Nash Alarcon, his wife Diana, daughter Nicole and son Matthew. Yolanda had 3 older siblings: RoseMary Villasana, her husband Jess, their sons Casey and his wife Dawn, and Matthew. Andy Carmona, his son Danny and his wife Erin, and daughter Nicole and her husband George. Alex Carmona, his wife Toni and their sons Arantez and Reyes. Yolanda had several grandnephews and grandnieces.
Yolanda attended Roosevelt high school in Fresno, California.
She married young, however, she impressed the family when she received her GED. For several years she worked as a sales clerk at various retail stores. Yolanda was fortunate to have worked for the California forestry department for a couple of years. What impressed our mother more was when she went to work for the Madera School district. She was an aide helping migrant high school students learn English so they could earn their GED.
Yolie had lots of friends. She loved to have a good time; dance, jokes, being with other people laughing about anything and everything. She loved the ocean. She did not like to cook.
She was preceded in passing by her parents Margaret and Indalecio (Andy) Carmona and her youngest son, Diego Carmona Rivera.
